I have invited my friend, local artist, Angela Briggs to showcase and sell her original gourd sculptures and prints along with over a dozen new oil paintings of mine. Harvesting Asian, Black, Latino Artists, which I recently incorporated.

BEVERLY JOHNSON PRESENTED A SILENT ART AUCTION BENEFIT

Proceeds Benefited the Nonprofit Organization: ¡HABLA! Harvesting Asian, Black, Latino Artists

¡HABLA! founder Lili Bernard opened her studio-showroom with an inaugural fundraiser silent auction of her work to benefit ¡HABLA! Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins gave a Vocal Performance, accompanied by Aleane Fitz-Carter on piano. The St. Brigid Youth Traditional African Drum Praise Ministry played a djembe trio. Guests included Dr. Carole Jordan-Harris (Cedar-Sinai ObGyn), Attorney Margo Bouchet, Actor Roger Guenveur Smith, Entertainment Lawyer Matthew Johnson, Dean Garfiel (Executive VP of Motion Picture Association), Dr. Roberto Vargas (UCLA Physician/Professor) and Civil Rights Attorney Franklin Ferguson, among many others.
